Loudsoul lives somewhere in the Northern hemisphere, where he mourns the temporary separation from his personal library. Being a long-time electronic music junkie, he covets the idea of becoming a pro-DJ, though he knows he could not live without also being involved in some kind of intellectual work. He regularly exposes himself to healthy doses of be bop jazz, Portuguese and French fiction, and European cinema. Part of the year sees him travelling away from home, a concept having proved quite elusive so far. At some point in his life, he has been amazed at the beauty of Western Canadian forests, of sunsets at the Stockholm´s archipelago, and of the aerial views of the Thai Ko´s in the South China Sea. Whenever possible, he includes Asian dishes -Vietnamese, Japanese, and Indian, in particular-, and red wine -especially Spanish- in his diet. Finally, if he had to single out a place to live, just one, it would be most likely located along the Western shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
